Venice, divided by its maze of canals and with no wheeled traffic, does not allow people to move around easily. Even with Vaporetti (water buses), people always have to walk to reach the places they need to go to every day. Remigo is a mobile application that makes it much easier to get from one place to another, connecting Venetians with private rowing boat owners – who can also offer services for people who cannot move from their houses. The service is also a way to enjoy an unusual trip around Venice and discover a new point of view on the city. The sensor system around Venice allows Remigo to help the boat owners move through the canals always knowing the tides and waterflow conditions. Cooperation with Fabrizio Goglia and Alessandro Matiuzzo.
