Johanna Amelie is a Berlin based indie- folk-singer-songwriter who plays dreamy and groovy music on international stages and festivals like FUSION, Artlake or Feel Festival. The singer cites Regina Spektor and Joni Mitchel as her main influences. Her music is inviting the listeners to immerse in a very personal world of tones, stories and soundscapes. Johanna Amelie has released 2 Cds and 1 »Duo-EP« with chilean singer Trinidad Doherty. »Cloud in a Room« (Solaris Empire / Broken Silence) has seen her touring and playing over 200 shows throughout Europe (Germany, Austria, Iceland, France, Switzerland, Denmark, UK, Italy) and the EP was played over 300.000 times on Spotify. Johanna Amelie‘s song Meadows appeared as a cover version on Jocelyn B Smith‘s album »Here I am«. A new studio Album – featuring collaborations with Gordon Raphael (producer of The Strokes, Skin, Regina Spektor,..), Moritz Krämer (die Höchste Eisenbahn) und Matze Pröllochs (Me & My Drummer) – is currently in the making and will be released in 2017.
